The A$1.37 billion Laminaria-Corallina project began in 1999. It has the ability to produce oil through eight wells connected to one of the world’s largest floating production, storage and offtake vessels (Northern Endeavour), which can produce up to 180,000 barrels of oil a day and can hold 1.4 million barrels. The vessel left Korea with hull systems commissioned and transferred, complete with personnel and sailed to Singapore. OGS provided the following services to the project:
- Headed up the commissioning management team in Korea;
- Provided engineering support with a multi disciplined team of Engineers, Senior Technicians;
- Construction, Inspection and Supervision.
