The Wandoo oilfield is located 75 kilometres off the coast of WA, near Dampier in the relatively shallow water depth of 55 metres. The construction of the Wandoo B Offshore Oil Platform involved five separate engineering elements to recover the oil from the Wandoo reservoir. The engineering solutions adopted to recover and process the oil had to be delivered within tight time and budget constraints, with OG heading up the complete commissioning team on each of the Wandoo A and B interfaces.
