Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) engaged contractors to convert the energy source of the power station at the Solomon Project from diesel to natural gas, with OGS providing a range of commissioning services. The power station initially operated through the provision of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) via road trains, until Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) could be brought to the power station via pipeline.
